Weekend pursuit in Chico ends in arrest

On Saturday evening around 11:30, Chico State University Police tried conducting an enforcement stop on the driver of a gray Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck, at Ivy Street and West Second Street.

The suspect drove away and the pursuit started at the corner of West Second Street and Ivy Street, and ended at Dayton Road, at Elmer Street.

The suspect is identified as is Hector Jimenez.

He's been charged with evading with disregard for safety; DUI, with alcohol and drugs combined and reckless driving.
