Missing Shasta Lake woman found

CITY OF SHASTA LAKE, Calif. — UPDATE:

According to the Shasta County Sheriff's Office, on Thursday at 8:14 p.m., Margaret Denton was located by a private citizen, within a mile of her residence, walking on a gravel road towards her home.

Denton was reunited with her family.

The Shasta County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the California Highway Patrol Air Ops, Anderson Police Department, and Search and Rescue volunteers in the day-long search for Denton.
