Donnie Wahlberg starts 2020 with $2,020 tip for IHOP server

ST. CHARLES, Ill. (WSET) -- Donnie Wahlberg is starting off 2020 by making someone's entire year.

Wahlberg's wife, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, tweeted a photo of their recent receipt after dining at an IHOP in St. Charles, Illinois.

The photo shows the actor left their server a $2,020 tip.

"... starting 2020 off like the amazing man he is," McCarthy wrote on Twitter.

Wahlberg wrote "Happy New Year" and "2020 Tip Challenge" at the bottom of the receipt and McCarthy hashtagged "2020 Tip Challenge" on Twitter.

Many people are praising the couple on Twitter.

So far, her tweet has more than 7,400 likes and 450 retweets.

Wahlberg has done this before. In 2017, he left a$2,000 tip for an $82.60 meal at a Waffle House in Charlotte, North Carolina.
