Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine attacked in Florida gym, authorities say

Tekashi 6ix9ine was rushed to the hospital after being attacked by a group of men inside a South Florida gym, according to authorities.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said the assault took place inside the LA Fitness in Lake Worth on Tuesday.

The rapper's attorney, Lance Lazzaro, told TMZ 6ix9ine was in the sauna at an LA Fitness when the attack occurred.

TMZ shared footage of the attack, which shows the rapper getting kicked and stomped on.

6ix9ine was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries in an ambulance following the assault.

The rapper's real name isDaniel Hernandez.

The sheriff's office is currently investigating.
