CORNING, Calif. — Update, 6:16 p.m. — Cal Fire says all resources have been released from this incident. The cause of the fire has not been announced.
Officials said their crews responded to a report of a structure fire on Houghton Avenue, north of Corning, at around 4:20 p.m. on Wednesday. When firefighters arrived, they learned two structures were fully involved in the fire.
After roughly 30 minutes at scene, Cal Fire said their crews had knockdown on both structures.

Update, 4:47 p.m. — Cal Fire says firefighters have knockdown on the two structures burning off of Houghton Avenue in the Corning area.
Officials said their crews, as well as the Tehama County Fire Department and the City of Corning crews, will be at the scene for another couple of hours.
The cause of the fire has not been announced.
