A Chico Unified School Bus was involved in a collision Tuesday morning with one student on board.
The California Highway Patrol says an SUV was driving west on Cohasset Boulevard near East Avenue when the bus T-boned the vehicle. It's unclear if the SUV had the right of way to enter the intersection.
Neither the bus driver nor the student on board suffered injuries. Another school bus came to pick up the student.
The driver of the SUV suffered pain to her chest possibly because officials at the scene found she was sitting too close to the steering wheel.
It's still under investigation whether drugs or alcohol were involved.
