Redding Police say the roadway has been cleared, though the traffic lights at the intersection are not functioning correctly. Crews are currently working to repair the lights.

Emergency crews in Redding have responded to a multi-vehicle collision at the intersection of Cypress Avenue and Alfreda Way.
KRCR's Ashley Harting went to the scene, where video shows at least three cars damaged around the intersection. Numerous emergency officials are also at the scene, including multiple Redding Police Department vehicles, at least one fire department vehicle, and an ambulance.
Redding Police confirmed to KRCR that at least three cars were involved in the collision, and one of the involved occupants has been sent to a nearby hospital. They believe one of the drivers may have been driving under the influence, but note they are still investigating.
As they clear the scene, Cypress Avenue will be reduced to one lane of traffic each way.
