Firefighters extinguish vehicle fire after crash near Pentz on Wednesday night

BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. — Just after 7 p.m. on Wednesday night, Cal Fire crews responded to a two-vehicle crash, with a fire, at Pentz Road and Durham-Pentz Road, north of Butte Valley.
They said arriving units found one person with minor injuries and a vehicle fully engulfed in fire.
Cal Fire said the vehicle fire spread to a 20-feet by 30-feet spot of vegetation before their crews contained it.
