GLENN COUNTY, Calif. — On Friday this week, Glenn County District 5 Supervisor Ken Hahn announced he will be resigning from his position on June 22.
According to the Glenn County Board of Supervisors, Hahn is stepping down because he's moving to Redding to be closer to family.
Hahn was elected in January 2021 and has served on numerous committees and commissions. Supervisors said Hahn was an advocate for employee telecommuting, the Hamilton City Fire Department, the Hamilton City Community Services District and the Hamilton City Clean-up taking place on Sat., June 11.
"I am thankful to have had the opportunity to serve on the Glenn County Board of Supervisors. It was a pleasure to work with everyone. I can't say enough about the people of District 4 in Glenn County, the Glenn County staff, the department heads and my fellow board members. I appreciate them and their hard work," Hahn said.
Hahn says he plans on spending time with his grandchildren and traveling with his recently retired wife.
