SHASTA COUNTY, Calif. — Multiple "heated spaces" are available throughout Shasta County as the area is experiencing cold, stormy weather.
Officials with the Shasta County Health & Human Services Agency (HHSA) say everyone can stay warm at the locations during business hours.
Heated spaces will be available at the following locations:
Anderson Library
- 3200 West Center St., Anderson
- Tues. through Fri., 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Sat., 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Burney Library
- 37116 Main St., Burney
- Tues. through Fri., 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and then 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Cottonwood Library
- 3427 Main St., Cottonwood
- Mon. through Tues., 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Wed., 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Sat., 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Frontier Center (Seniors Only)
- 2081 Frontier Trl., Anderson
- Mon. through Fri., 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Good News Rescue Mission
- 3100 S. Market St., Redding
- Mon. through Sun., 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Redding Library
- 1100 Parkview Ave., Redding
- Mon. through Thurs., 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Fri., and Sat., 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Sun., 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Shasta Lake Library (Hours may vary)
- 1525 Median Ave., Shasta Lake
- Tues., 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Wed., 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- Fri., 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Officials said although these heated spaces are available, there are currently no Warming Centers in place.
