REDDING, Calif. — A man was sent to the hospital early Thursday afternoon after he was found with a stab wound on the Cypress Ave. bridge, according to the Redding Police Department.
Lieutenant Timothy Renault says the victim was walking eastbound across the bridge and fell about halfway across.
Lt. Renault then says another person asked the victim if he was alright, but the victim said he had been stabbed on the west side of the bridge.
The victim had a puncture wound in his abdomen and was taken to the hospital.
However, Lt. Renault says the victim is not giving many details and police are still trying to figure out where the exact crime scene is, what happened, and who the suspect is.
