BUTTE COUNTY, CALIF. — The Cal Fire Butte Unit says they have successfully knocked down a structure fire that broke out along Forbestown Road early Sunday morning.
Cal Fire says units were dispatched to the incident at 9:17 a.m. Sunday morning. Crews were able to quickly knock down the fire, which singed the exterior of the home and spread into parts of the attic. A total of seven engines were sent to the scene, including two water tenders. No injuries were reported, and fire crews are now investigating the cause.
Cal Fire advises drivers to remain cautious while traveling along Forbestown Road, as emergency vehicles remain at the scene.
