PG&E Outage affects hundreds in Butte County

BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. — A power outage at 5:06 a.m. left 317 PG&E customers in the dark Tuesday.

The outage was located in Butte County along highway 32 through Butte Meadows and outside Lassen National Forest.

As of 8:10 a.m., a PG&E repair crew was headed to the outage location for repair work. The utility's outage map listed an estimated restoration time of 3:32 p.m.

PG&E's preliminary determination was the outage was caused by an equipment issue.
