FLINT TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WEYI) — A hospital in Michigan called police after examining a 10-month-old baby boy, and that led to his brother's arrest for sexual assault.
It happened Tuesday afternoon near Flint.
The hospital told police the infant suffered injuries consistent with sexual assault. Officers got there and spoke with emergency room staff and the baby's family.
They said their investigation found the suspect to be the victim's 18-year-old brother, who they did not identify. They went to the family's home and arrested him.
The brother is charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct, which is a felony punishable by imprisonment for life or any term of years
He's being held in jail.
