Several employees from a private school in Utah were fired after they were accused of embezzling millions in tuition funds from several students.

According to the lawsuit filed bythe Christian Life Center Church, four people were fired: Greg Miller, head of the school; his wife Karen, an administrator; their son Jared Miller, the principal, and his wife Lexie, a student advisor.

Sr. Pastor Myke Crowder sent a letter and said he had "no choice" but to do so.

Court documents stated Christian Life Center uncovered a "massive fraud and potentially multi-million-dollar embezzlement scheme perpetrated by the Millers, and potentially others, since as early as 2019" at Layton Christian Academy.

While the extent of the lawsuit is pending investigation, church leaders claimed the Millers were diverting student tuition money to their own business entities. According to the lawsuit, the Millers had drafted several plans and appeared to be in the process of purchasing land in Florida to use as a campus.

No criminal charges were filed as of Tuesday night.

Layton Christian Academy is a private school that educates students from preschool through 12th grade locally and internationally with over 450 students. According to their website, students from across the country enroll to attend LCA.
