A Florida man who may look younger than he really is has been charged withhaving sex with a girl well under the legal age.

Authorities said last Oct. 31, the alleged victim told a school resource officer an unknown man molested her at a park, the night before.

That officer at the 12 year old's middle school in Wellington called 911 and thePalm Beach CountySheriff's Office got involved.

According to the arrest report, the girl had run away and her grandfather called the police.

Then, the next day, a teacher called the mother to say the girlhad "hickeys" on her body.

The report said the girl told her mother she downloaded a chatting app called Omegle on her grandfather's cellphone and met a boy who said he was 13 years old.

That "boy" was more than twice the age of 13, authorities say.

The report said the girl "sent him the address of the park near her home and he told her that his mother was going to drop him off. [The girl] told her that she later realized he was not 13 years old since he was driving a vehicle. He picked her up and they drove somewhere nearby.

"[The girl] told her they were in a parking lot, in the backseat of the car, and that he ‘raped her.’ [The mother] reported [the girl] has ASD [autism spectrum disorder], ADHD [attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder], major depression and mood disorder.”

Later, deputies said the girl told them, "She met a boy named Luis who told her he was 13 years old. They began talking at around 5:15 p.m. and eventually they exchanged phone numbers.

And she told him she was 19 years old.

According to the report, "She gave Luis the address to the park and ... they drove to a nearby location" where they had unprotected sex before he "dropped her off close to her home.

[The girl] described Luis as having long curly black hair and a mustache. She said he had several tattoos on his face, wrist, and one of his legs. [The girl] indicated he appeared to be around 20 years old. She said he was driving a four-door gray car.

Authorities used the grandfather's phone and learned who Luis really was: 28-year-old Luis Avalos, Jr., from Coconut Creek.

They also reported using a license plate recognition tool from that evening in the area and found the car.

The next week, the Child Protection Team reported "positive findings for sexual abuse."

Avalos was charged with lewd or lascivious behavior with a victim 12 to 16.

He was booked Thursday at 5:09 p.m. and his bail was set at $50,000.

If he pays it and leaves the Main Detention Center, he won't be allowed to have contact with the girl or anyone under 18.

Also, he'll be banned from social media and the internet, and not allowed to have any weapons.
