EVERETT, Wash. (KOMO) — Deputies are searching for a suspect accused of trying to kidnap a woman working at a bikini coffee stand in Everett, Washington on Wednesday.
The Snohomish County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) said a 911 caller reported the incident at Ladybug Bikini Espresso, just after noon when a man drove up and showed a gun to an employee. He threatened the woman working and told her to get in his vehicle, deputies said. She did not and called 911, the SCSO said.
Deputies said the man then drove off and ditched the car at nearby apartment building, where officials found a gun inside the vehicle. The vehicle was impounded as evidence, deputies added.
Wednesday evening the SCSO tweeted a description of the man suspected: white, heavyset, around 40 years old, appears to be bald or have very short hair, wearing a white T-shirt, black baseball hat and driving an orange Mazda.
The investigation is ongoing and a K9 unit is involved in the search for the man, deputies said.
