The town of Noble is recovering Friday morning after a tornado touched down overnight.

Several buildings were destroyed along the town's Main St.

Officials confirmed at least four buildings and one home were damaged in the tornado, though officials were happy to report that no deaths or injuries were reported as a result of the severe weather.

"Once the storm hit, it seemed like it popped down really quick. It was down and right back up," said Noble Fire Chief Phil Scott. "We had a really quick response to this area here, and again, this is where the main destruction was at."

Officials say there are also downed powerlines throughout the area.

One witness described the terrifying moment when the storm hit in the night.

"With this one, it's at night, you can't see it coming," said Collin Hooks. "Luckily before the power went out, we had enough of the city lights to kind of see where the area of concern was, and with past tornadoes, you know, you just can't see them coming. The ones at nighttime are just real dangerous."

OG&E is currently working on restoring power to customers. As of Friday morning, there are 477 people without power, but that number has been consistently dropping throughout the night and into the morning. When the storm hit last night, it left more than 15,000 people without power.
