Wisconsin woman hits $1.4 million jackpot at Golden Gate Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A Wisconsin woman won more than $1.4 million playing Tuesday morning on the casino floor at Golden Gate Hotel & Casino in downtown Las Vegas.

The resort announced Tuesday the visitor was in town for a bingo tournament when she played the Million Degrees game.

She won a total of $1,453,640.47, the largest jackpot win in Golden Gate's history, according to a spokesperson.

"She is a big fan of the D and Golden Gate so we really couldn’t have asked for a better winner," CEO and owner Derek Stevens said in a statement. "This is the biggest payout of my career in Las Vegas and our lucky casino player has made the experience unforgettable."
