(WOLF) — A truck driver was arrested after allegedly stealing a Krispy Kreme truck filled with doughnuts, according to authorities.
The South Abington Township Police Department in Pennsylvania said it was notified that a Krispy Kreme truck was stolen Friday around 9 a.m. EDT.
Employees at the Krispy Kreme in one town told officers that a delivery driver, later identified as 40-year-old Robert Rebmann Jr., failed to make a delivery to a store in another town the night before.
According to an affidavit, Rebmann stopped responding to his employers after he didn't make the delivery.
Police eventually found him and he was committed to the Lackawanna County Prison on theft and receiving stolen property charges.
Rebmann's bail was set at $25,000.
