VANCOUVER, Wash. (KATU) — An act of kindness went a long way at Pioneer Elementary school in Vancouver, Washington.
The Evergreen School District said a fifth grade student named Ivy noticed that her classmates were a bit down last week.
So, she presented each of her classmates with a rose and a beautiful, caring, and supportive message.
The message said in part, “I just want you all to know that I’m always here to talk to. I empathize [with] all of you I know what it's like and if you need someone to talk to, I’m always available.”
According to the district, Ivy's classmates said that this act made them feel cared for and important.
