Sphinx at Luxor gets Las Vegas Raiders eyepatch ahead of season opener

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Raider Nation is growing.

A new Las Vegas Raiders eyepatch was added to the replica Sphinx at the Luxor Thursday morning, ahead of the team's season opener against Baltimore on Monday.

Luxor is located about a mile in walking distance from Allegiant Stadium and will serve as a tailgating home for MGM Resorts' Bud Light Beer Garden.

It's not the first time MGM accessorized one of its resorts for a Las Vegas sports team.

The Statue of Liberty at New York-New York has been decked out inreplica Raiders, the NHL'sGolden Knights, and the WNBA's Aces jerseys in years prior.
