Wendy's offering free burgers for the month of September

WASHINGTON (WJLA) — Wendy's is now offering free burgers for the month of September, the fast food chain announced on Twitter.

Customers can get a free Dave's Single with their purchase every single day free for the rest of the month.

The promotion is a month-long celebration of National Cheeseburger Day, which is September 18. "[B]ecause one day of hot and juicy burgers is never enough, Wendy’s believes you deserve to celebrate through the end of the month," the company said in a press release.

You can score the free burgers with any purchase at participating restaurants, if you download the Wendy's mobile app.

The company is also offering 50 cent Frosty's at participating locations.
