EUREKA, Calif. — As reported by Humboldt County Public Health, three residents have been hospitalized with COVID-19 within the past week.
Those hospitalized were residents in their 40s, 60s and 70s.
Of the 42 COVID cases reported, 23 are confirmed and 19 are considered probable.
The county remains 68.7 percent vaccinated and approximately 28 percent of residents have received the bivalent booster.
As of last week, testing sites in Arcata, McKinleyville and Trinidad have closed.
In addition, the longstanding Wharfinger Building testing site is scheduled to close sometime in February.
This news comes as California's COVID-19 State of Emergency is set to end on Feb. 28.
