Blue Lake Rancheria PD donates $3,000 to the Humboldt County Child Abuse Service team

BLUE LAKE, Calif. — Officers with the Blue Lake Rancheria Tribal Police Department donated $3,000 to the Humboldt County Child Abuse Service team, presenting the check to them Tuesday morning.

The proceeds came from their 'No Shave November' fundraiser. Officers let their beards grow long for an entire month to raise funds, donating money that would've otherwise been spent on shaving and grooming necessities.

'CAST' has been helping child abuse victims for over two years, advocating for the county's most vulnerable victims.
