District Attorney-Elect Stacy Eads honored with Outstanding Prosecutor Award

EUREKA, Calif. — The California District Attorneys Association (CDAA) honored Humboldt County District Attorney-Elect Stacey Eads with the 2022 Rural/Medium County Outstanding Prosecutor Award.

Eads was honored during the CDAA at their fall conference after three years of not being able to hold the awards due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Eads was nominated back in 2020 for the award.

Since being nominated in 2020, Eads had help in a number of sexual assault and child abuse cases.

“Stacey Eads is a consummate prosecutor who is not only an extraordinary trial lawyer, but a trusted leader. She is deeply devoted to the cause of justice and epitomizes the highest standards of our noble profession," Chief Executive Officer of the CDAA Greg Totten said in a press release.
