Humboldt County releases third primary election update

Today, the Humboldt County Office of Elections released its third post-primary election report.

Natalie Arroyo has advanced her lead in the District 4 supervisor race with 53.95% of the votes, up from 52.88%.

Mike Newman now has 32.39% of the votes and Kim Bergel continues to trail behind with 13.65% of the vote.

Stacey Eads is still the front runner for the district attorney race, even though she lost a small percentage of her commanding lead and now holds 57.24% of the votes. This is down from 57.96% reported in the county’s previous update.

Her competitor, Adrian Kamada is up with 33.33% of the vote and Michael Acosta is down with 9.43% of the vote.
