Pickup truck engulfed in flames on Eureka's D Street
The charred pickup truck after Humboldt Bay Fire crews extinguished the flames.
A pickup truck caught on fire around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday on D Street in Eureka, sending a huge amount of smoke into the sky.
According to Humboldt Bay Fire, the driver noticed smoke coming from his truck and pulled over, avoiding other drivers between Fourth and Fifth Streets. Shortly after he got out, the truck was engulfed in flames.
No injuries or further damage were caused and the driver was unharmed.
