A small plane made an emergency landing in an Arcata field Tuesday afternoon. The Arcata Police Department said that nobody inside the plane was harmed during the landing.

ARCATA, Calif. — A small plane made an emergency landing in an Arcata field around 3:30 Tuesday afternoon and nobody inside was injured.

Public safety personnel began rushing to the scene of a reported plane crash on the 4000 block of Lanphere Rd. Tuesday afternoon.

The Arcata Police Department told North Coast News at the scene that the plane made an emergency landing due to strong headwinds. Four people were on board the plane but were unharmed.
