The Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors are squaring up in the championship series for the fourth year in a row -- which ESPN notes has never before happened in NBA, NFL, NHL or MLB history.

In the spirit of the NBA Finals, WalletHub ranked America's best and worst cities for basketball fans.

With ticket prices, stadium accessibility, fan engagement, and NBA and NCAA team performance among its metrics, WalletHub compared nearly 300 cities.

Los Angeles tops the overall rankings as the best city for basketball fans. However, it's also home to one of the least-accessible NBA stadiums and has one of the highest average NBA ticket prices.

New Britain, Connecticut, hit a brick. It was ranked the worst city for basketball fans, followed by Daytona Beach, Florida, and Clinton, South Carolina.
