Southbound SR-89 closed from McCloud to Bartle due to multiple big rig spinouts, weather

SISKIYOU COUNTY, Calif. — Caltrans says, as of 4:25 p.m. on Wednesday, State Route 89 is closed to all southbound traffic, from McCloud to just north of Bartle, due to multiple big rig spinouts and winter weather conditions.

At this time, no detour is available and motorists are advised to use an alternate route.
